Absolute Pencil Probes: For general purpose inspection of surface breaking defects and metallurgy variations. Uses a Micro connector.
Bridge Pencil Probes: ETher NDE newly developed “IB Tech Inside” absolute intrinsically balanced technology which further improves the signal to noise ratio of conventional Absolute Probes giving a significant improvement in inspection reliability. Uses a Lemo 4-Way connector.
EC Weld Probes are specifically designed for weld inspection of non-ferrous welds and steel structures. They can detect surface cracks on a weld with a non-conductive surface coating on it of up to 0.08ins (2mm).
The application specific design of the probe means that it is capable of inspecting welds with uneven surfaces and coatings on them. Available in a broad frequency range, wide range of diameters and cables up to 164ft (50m) available.
Rotating Probes (Reflection) are available in two options, Rigid Stainless Steel and Delrin Flexible.
Rigid stainless steel probes offer high wear resistance, where as the flexible probes are used where hole tolerances are poor and access is not directly in-line with the hole
Ideal or general purpose inspection of sub-surface corrosion and flaws, excellent depth of penetration, perfect for multi-layer inspections.
Available in broad frequency ranges, with integrated 4-way LEMO connectors, built-in balance coils; these probes deliver excellent low frequency performance.
Typically used on aircraft wings (and on other similar structures) to detect cracks and corrosion on or near the surface around fasteners and in deeper layers under the skins.
The above probes would either slide along or over rows of fasteners.
Our range of ID Probes are designed alongside our Cables and give great flexibility in the field with our dis-connectable cables, hence if either the probe or cable fails, the operator can easily swap them out and carry on with their inspection reducing downtime and cost.
Designed using stainless steel end caps to give longer life span.

Reflection sub surface probes are for general- purpose inspection of sub-surface corrosion and flaws, with excellent depth of penetration making it ideal for multi-layer inspections.

Absolute metal sorting and general surface probes – low profile so ideal for those tight inspection areas.
