The LumaFlux 4D meter from Baugh & Weedon expands on the popular 3D model, now with carries six Operation Modes equivalent to the function of six different gauges and tools, including:

With an easy "Swap and Go" system to change Sensors, the LumaFlux 3D rapidly switches between all the established functions of the LumaCheck Dual UV and White Light Meter, to the unique benefits of the MagnaCheck 3D Tangential Field Strength Meter
Combined Dual UV, White light & Tangential Field Strength Meter.
A truly Innovative NDT Product the LumaFlux is a combined Dual UV / White Light Meter and Tangential Field Strength Meter in one rugged Instrumentation package.

Building on the legacy of its predecessors, the MagnaCheck 4D introduces several new features aimed at enhancing the inspection process for the operator.
Key innovations include the Shot Timer Mode for precise magnetising shot duration, the Waveform Mode for detailed waveform analysis, and the new Pie Gauge feature, which provides intuitive directionality for magnetic fields and expected indications.
With automatic scaling, multi-axis sensitivity, and improved probe orientation capabilities, the MagnaCheck 4D ensures reliable results for even the most complex MPI tests, making it an indispensable tool for professionals in the field.

The MagnaCheck 3D is a Tangential Field Strength Meter, also known a Gaussmeter, which is a device used to measure the strength and direction of a magnetic field.
Baugh and Weedon offer a standard “1D” probe or a 3D probe which can measure the strength of a field in 3 dimensions (x, y and z).
The MagnaCheck gauges are developed to be easy to use, ergonomic and are lightweight at 350g (0.77lbs). The standard 1D probe can up to 1000 Gauss, and the 3D probe up to 2000 Gauss; until of measurement can be in Gauss, mTsela and Ka/m. Sensor calibration is stored digitally in the probe with a measurement accuracy of 1%.

The LumaCheck has a unique design as it is the Sensor that stores the calibration details, not the instrument itself; meaning that only the Sensor needs to be sent for calibration subject to the standards that your facility operate in accordance with. This allows the unit of the LumaCheck to be “hot-swapped” with another sensor and remain in continuous use.
